The first day of the state convention consisted of tours of the area. I went on a tour of a Norwegian settlement, which was interesting, and there was pie and coffee at the end... so who can complain about that!
Mark and I went to the Wo-Zah-Wa (Have Fun) Festival in the Dells on Saturday. 100,000 people looking at crafts, and other fun stuff. Most interesting thing we saw was a man with his dog in a carrier on his chest and another man pushing a dog stroller. The crafts were nice too, but the people watching was great fun!
A blacksmith's shop |
One of the quilts I found interesting at the Madison Quilt Show... and actually there were 2 versions of this quilt in the show. |
This Quilt was made by Pat Nieman, a member of Material Girls, for a palliative care patient. |
The Garden at the Norwegian Settlement |
Inside the house. I believe it was the original house. Rooms were quite small. |
