Summer Time!

Some Random Views from Summer 2011
After Mike's Triathlon George was hot and exhausted and had to drink plenty of water!
Michael was happy and proud of his performance.... 2 hours 2 minutes and 21 seconds...
I was pretty impressed as well!

Gwenny got a hold of my camera and did a number on my shutter... have to open it manually or all of the pictures will look like this one!
Childhood is such a wonderful experience.... we should all experience it as much as we can....

Summer is a great time to catch up on your reading too!
My dogs really love me!
And I them.

There is still time to visit Camp Hatton... we'd love to see you!  Although we are only accepting reservations for Primitive Camping this summer.

July Travels

July was a busy month...
Here I am enjoying a birthday lunch with Cindy and Brownie in Wautoma....

My birthday was also the first day of our kitchen remodeling... which has also brought many changes to our other living spaces.  Here are some of the boxes of stuff from the kitchen which have been relocated to the living room.  I kind of like the look... think we might even make the Hoarders TV Show.
I really got tired of packing boxes and moving them, so i just decided that since we rarely use the tub it would be a great place to store our baking pans.  In fact if we run out of space in the new cabinets they may stay there permanently.

Here is our naked kitchen.... before the demolition team got to it.
Stella is concerned...
One of the highlights of the month was seeing Mike run, bike and swim (well I didn't see him swim) in his first Triathlon.  More pictures below... i still can't get the pictures to load the way i want them too.
This is Cindy admiring some flowers in Wautoma... from my birthday lunch
I returned Shotzie to Annie the day before I went to Washington... here are all the dogs playing with their Annie.  They really love her... and not only because she lets them up on her bed and other furniture!
Becca on the way to the Triathlon....wish you could have heard her, Pat and George
                                                                all cheering for their dad

                                                                              He's a runner!
