More Hats

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Hatton's last Sunday --- and Mike and his family came too! I took lots and lots of pictures... so here they are, in no particular order. This first pictures are of Mike opening his birthdy present, a cordless drill.

It's always good to see Ralph

Nick and his friend Cullen came, and went trick or treating. They got soooo much candy! And they still have next weekend to do it all again!

Meg doesn't like to have her picture taken!

Mike was balancing Beca on one hand in the air, and i tried to ignore it!

Pat and Meg each posed for pictures... like mother like son (or is it vica a versa?)

Aunt Laura was amused!

Many Hats

We wore many hats this last weekend... started out with our God Parent and Friend hats when we went to visit the Skonieczny's in Freeport. We went to an Aquin JV game, where Paul, our Godson, played on Special Teams and Defense for the Aquin Bulldogs!

Paula, Aquin's Cheerleader!

This is Paul, #30 on the opening kick off....

The Bulldogs won, beating Lena's JV team, which had three times as many players, many of whom were BIG GUYS -- but Aquin had God on it's side, and some really fast little runners!

After attending Mass at St. Thomas, where we were instructed to follow our Catholic conscience and vote republican, we went to Schmidt's for a hayride and party, and we ran into some old friends from Freeport.....

Our hostess, Mindy and Jen

Mark enjoyed the fire

The next morning Paula got up early and made us Monkey Bread and Bacon...what more could a person want? (Oh, and really good coffee from Hawaii!)

After breakfast we were off to Grandma and Grandpa Hatton's.... where we wore many other hats, which we'll show you in the next posting!

Tailgaiting at Madison

We went to Madison for the tail gait party on October 11th.... We had lots of wonderful conversations.... and lots of food.... and oh, there was beer, and one little boy (Kate's nephew) found a basket of candy, and he sure enjoyed it!

Trisha and Dick share a joke... well, at least Trisha did!

We didn't stay for the game.... which was probably for the best, because MADISON lost to Penn State. As Betsy said, somebody has to be in last place and it is Madison's turn this year!
