March is Marching On...

i haven't posted on here in a long time.  Just some random stuff...found out I can post pictures from my phone.... I am not sure how that happens because I haven't uploaded them... at any rate this is a picture of the Hunter's Star wall hanging I am working on... and below is the Hunter's Star Quilt that we (Material Girls) are raffeling off for Paliative Care.
I went to see my brother Tim in January.... we went out to lunch and caught up... I was surprised he had grey hair.  I always think of him as young.  I should have taken more pictures... but now that I know how to get to his apt. I will visit more often, and hopefully he will come and spend some time with us this summer.  I know he would enjoy the lake....

Fall is turning into winter.... I am cold.  Life is happening.... but not much worth recording.  Quilt Retreat last weekend.  Learned new techniques and got a good start on a new quilt.

Started another medication, so I am really tired.

Recieved an appreciation award from the Library Board tonight.  Nice to be appreciated.

Tomorrow is my second to last Romemakers meeting as President.... YEAH!!!!! Jeanne and I are giving a presentation on the Freak Factor.  Then I am actually looking forward to coming home and doing some cleaning and organizing.

Meeting Ben

Introducing  the newest member of the Hatton Family: Benjamin Blair Hatton.
We were unable to have a baby shower for Marita and Alan, so Mary, Deb and I went to Scituate to celebrate his arrival.  He is, of course, like all Hatton babies, perfect in every way.  His grandmother is over the moon, and his great aunts were pretty smitten too!

Bonding with Grandma

Through modern technology, Grandpa Bruce was able to FaceTime with Deb and Ben from China.
He also is over the moon!

July--We Hardly Knew Ya!

July 2013 is almost history.... but we made some good memories during the month:

Gwenny likes to be with us -- too bad she can't read!  But she does enjoy looking out the windows.
It's always peaceful at sunset....

I got a pedicure!

Hatton's and Reidel's celebrated the 4th of July weekend with us.

We had some good laughs...

And of course there was reading
