Guademala Part 2

Here are some more pictures from our trip to Guatemala....

Students from the school in Uchuch

Terry giving out drugs and smiles

Waiting to see the doctor, these ladies posed for their pictures...

Kathy Kline, either on the back of the truck or painting a hundred faces... she's always smiling!

Dr Mark in his "office" getting ready for the day

This dog adopted us and stayed with us most of the day

Waiting in line to see the doctor... students went with their mothers or grandmothers

One of the teachers preparing the daily snack for the students...

Some of "the guys"

Notice they have sweatshirts on and hats.... I was very warm...

The classrooms are in the blue building, and 'the office' was to the left behind the classrooms.

I have never seen sheep riding on the top of a bus before... I don't think they were enjoying the ride.

Cataleena.... she spent the afternoon with us... she was 3 and a delight!

Terry took this picture... and we bought a painting in Antigua that looks just

like her!

EASTER in Illinois

We drove down to Washington to spend Easter with Mike, Meg, Patrick, George and Annie. We had lots of fun... starting with pizza Friday night. But it seems that I really do take way too many pictures... and people (mainly Patrick and Rebecca) are getting a bit tired of it! George and Michael share an adoring glance
He is smiling... but my camera is a little too slow to capture it.

You can almost see it here.... he is so adorable! And getting bigger and better everyday.

We made our first lamb mold cake... and Michael was kind enough to share his decorating skills... but I think he is getting a bit sick of me taking pictures too!
Patrick enjoyed mixing up the green coconut

Mike is much more patient than I am....

Mark kept Stella company. She sure loves her "dad"

Meg, Patrick and Rebecca colored Easter Eggs

While Mike and Mark checked on the ham

And I of course took pictures! (Grandma Bob would be so proud!)

Then it was time to go to the park.. the blue park...

The slide was our favorite!

Although I did have to give up the picture taking responsibilities for a bit!

Becca needed a shoulder to cry on, and luckily mine was available

Working on my balance! Becca has it down!

Patrick found the swings amusing

The Lamb Cake, and I think it's cute! It was quite tasty too.

Even Mike and Meg had to pose for a picture

or two....

George doesn't seem to mind the pictures

Becca relaxing on her dad's lap after dinner
We did remember to linger awhile after supper

Patrick is telling Annie all about his day
Back at the Motel 8 Stella and Sally shared their bed with Annie

Annie and Becca together at Mass on Easter

Becca enjoyed Annie's purse, and discovered many of her treasures
(especially her lip gloss, which she is quite good at applying all by herself!)

After church we tried to take a few "family" pictures while we were dressed up

But by then, it was a struggle to get anyone to sit still!

Guess we'll just have to go with "candid" shots from now on!
Happy Easter!!!!!
