Annie took this picture of us....

St. Louis Rocks in August!

We went to St. Louis this weekend to help Annie move - AGAIN

Breakfast at Chris' Pancakes and Dining.....

After working all night Annie still had the energy to go out to breakfast....

Mark and Annie had the omlette....

I had pancakes and sausage....

After breakfast we unloaded Annie's boxes from home, and then had to go out and buy rubbermaid containers to transfer her precious belongings to, because they got quite wet on the way down. We also bought some Cardinals shirts for all of us, because Friday night Annie took us to the BEST BASEBALL GAME I have ever been to.

The Cardinals won 18 to 3 against Atlanta... and it was lots of fun to be on the winning side for once!

Come back tomorrow to see more pictures (and a video!!!) from our weekend in St. Louis... where, by the way, it is quite illegal to sit on a curb and drink beer from a bucket.

A Week in the Life......

If this was a normal week, I can't wait for something unusual to happen!

  • Tuesday morning i saw a man walking down the street in Friendship... not so unusual, except he was old, had long white hair and a beard, and he was walking with a walking stick... and oh Yeah, he was wearing pink underware (boxers and a t-shirt) and a hat with bunny ears. I saw him again later in the week, but that time he had on Fushia underwear, and he was carrying an umbrella!

  • Chris came for a visit on Wednesday night... he practiced his roll overs on the kayak and we had home made pizza.

  • This is the canoe and Kayak stand Mark built ..it even has a place for chairs!

  • Did you know Michael Phelps won 8 gold medals for swimming this week? Did you know I saw him win every one?

  • We have a lot of sea weed!!!!! If any

one knows of a use for it please let us know.

My flowers are growing and flourishing.....

Must be the "fertilizer!"

I thought this was a nice picture of Mark and Becca...

Fun Things to Know and Tell:

You can drive from the United States to Peru (although you have to take a ferry from Panama to Columbia) but it is not recommended. http://www.expatperu.com/expatforums/viewtopic.php?p=16793

See the Dale's Web Site for more camping pictures!

Green things

We had a fun weekend, and the weather was great... so we spent Sunday down at the beach and then gave Stella a hair cut. Sally got to play ball and then both girls got baths.
Stella needed a "treat" after her hair cut!

She helped herself!

After their baths and Stella's hair cut, they posed for this picture.

I am trying to learn more about digital photography . This was my attempt to crop this picture of Becca.... Not exactly what I had in mind, but I think it is pretty interesting!

I decided I should learn how to use the riding mower in case I ever had to mow the lawn....

I must say it was a lot more fun than washing the kitchen floor.... maybe Mark and I can trade jobs.....

Mark with his SEA WEED Collection

But I don't want this one... raking up the sea weed.

Sally doesn't care how much sea weed there is as long as there is at least one ball!

More Great Pictures!

This is the Becca picture I love! Click on it to make it bigger... she is just adorable!

Some of these you should make bigger... so you can see Becca's smile and Mike's tongue.

Look

This is where you can see Mike's Tongue!

There are a few pictures from the weekend that i want to share.

I am still trying to figure out how to get the text where I want it.... so I am not sure where this is going to end up. Life is full of surprises, I guess that's what makes it interesting!
