Here's What Happened in Sept. 2012

So September has been a busy month.... we celebrated Mary Dale's upcoming wedding with a shower at her house...

Annie and the bridesmaids were wonderful hostesses.  My camera battery died, so for more pictures see the Dick Dale website.

Grandma and Grandpa Hatton and their driver, Mary Kay came to visit over Labor Day weekend.   Mary had just returned from her World Cruise and shared her pictures with us.

Tom came from Minnesota to see the pictures and us!

He and Mom were gracious enough to pose for me!

Mark not so much!

Mary and Tom being cooperative!

For some reason I am unable to upload more pictures... so i will post this and add another post with more pictures.

Is it really August already? (2012)

We have had quite a summer!  Hottest summer in history here in the Mid-West, good thing we live on a lake!  I haven't been keeping up with this blog... I tried to upload pictures a couple of times, but was unsuccessful.  So i have decided to just jump in here, and not worry about the pictures I've missed... maybe I'll add a few each time I post!
Here is a bit of what we've been up to:
Mark took me to Madison for a Birthday weekend... we stayed at a lovely hotel, strolled up and down State Street, ate wonderful food, went to the Art Fair on the Square and went to see Billy Elliot.  I want to make it an annual affair!!!!
We found a great bakery on State Street with amazing pastries....

Stella and Sally were glad to see us return!

Grandma (and grandpa) came up in July and stayed with us for a couple of weeks.

Ralph and his gang came up for a weekend, and he and Mark put in a beautiful wood floor in Mark's  "office".

Laura enjoying a good laugh.

Nick is planning his next fishing expedition to the dock!

Stella, who left us last Friday, is relaxing on the couch.  She was a great dog, and she will be missed.  Not sure what to do with all of the doggie treats we have.... She really loved those treats!

Our next visitor's were the Dale's.  Dick and Mark kayacked and cooked.  Betsy and I read and relaxed.  Perfect weekend!
(We did give Stella dog treats too!)

Betsy modeling her USA Soccer Shirt from last year's tournament in Germany, which our daughters attended.

I will try to update this more often.... coming up next, our weekend in Washington with Michael's Gang.
