A Family Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving... but some of us just didn't get into the whole sharing thing.... here Stella is hording both her bone and the one I gave to Shotzie......

Mike and his gang arrived on Wednesday afternoon. Patrick is ready for dinner.
Becca is enjoying her chicken nuggets
Annie and George bonding
George enjoyed exploring the kitchen
Chris arrived a bit later on Wednesday evening... looking dapper as usual!
Mike relaxing on the couch
Annie and Justin, who arrived on Tuesday relaxing....
Here I am relaxing while Patrick fans me! This is the life!
I could definitely get used to this.
Becca and Justin enjoyed reading The Berenstein Bears
Becca in the Sunflower hat with her new doll
Grandpa and Becca watching Chris play Mario Brothers
George, who may be a bit nearsighted, also liked the game
Chris is intense!
I found a box of matchbox cars and Patrick and George were thrilled.
George got into a few tight places over the weekend, like behind the TV and under the dining room table. Luckily his mom was able to rescue him!

Mark and the main entree, our turkey!
Justin enjoying homemade bread
We had some fun playing pirates.....
Here Patrick and Becca practiced their "ARGH'S"

Chris didn't get quite into the game, he was too focussed on Super Mario
Chef Mark worked on dinner, while Pirate Meg prepared lunch for her little pirates.
Justin and Annie really got into the game.... Annie is quite a good ARGHER!
The little pirates took a break for lunch
Patrick taught me how to ARGH
Becca is an expert!
Even Shotzie and Stella got into the game!
Meg and Mike are quite good at the Pirate game
And Mike looks so handsome in an earing
The Washington Pirates
Justin is quite handsome.. and looks good in an earing too!
I showed off my ARGH! (I think Mark was quite impressed!)
Shotzie isn't sure we are sane

Stella knows we aren't
We took the girls for a walk and then Justin and Annie
got them to run around and work off some steam..

Meg's turn to read to Becca
Chris was pretty excited about the match cars too!

Becca giving Shotzie a hug
Stella being patient with our nuttiness
Shotzie seeking refuge
Annie and Becca

Oh baby, it's cold inside!
Annie making gravy with Mark

Enjoying the Feast
Becca decided Grandma takes way too many pictures....
but I didn't have one of Shotzie balancing on Mark's chair!
Chillin

Becca is a dancer!
Annie and Justin
George loved the tile floor!
Patrick and Becca helped me make cranberry bread on Friday. \
They wouldn't eat it, but they made it!

Patrick getting his first piano lesson from Grandpa Mark
The Pumpkin Bread
Patrick and Becca posed with the tea set
Mark and George think life is pretty good!
Stella finally got to show us her ARGH!

Everything is a hat... we are HATTON's afterall!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving..... what a great holiday!

I love to see all these family shots, Jan. Your house is so 'you'. Pandemonium, clutter and most of all -
relaxed and fun!
