On our arrival there wasn't anyone from Food For the Hungry to meet us, but these gentlemen were most helpful... and Mark suggested we share our chocolate chip cookies with them... and they were pleased. Apparently Cookie is the same in Spanish as it is in English!
Church in Nebaj, which was being prepared for Holy Week. We went in and made 3 wishes... my dad would be so pleased! Nothing like spreading an Irish custom (3 wishes are allowed each time you go into a church for the first time) to Guatemala.
