And so the adventure began...... We said good bye to Mark and the girls....

Stella wanted to come with us!

And hit the open road....

When we got to St. Louis we decided to pack up the car and keep going... we stayed at the lovely, and I mean lovely, Travel Inn, our interstate Oasis, in Hazen, Arkansas, and we were lucky enough to get a lake view room!

The lake.... we also had breakfast at the Inn, and got some great decorating tips too!

I missed taking the picture of the snake skin mounted on the wall right behind Annie.

It was lovely, and a snake skin really fills up a wall!

We had our own beds... and wished we had our own pillows!

Look, I matched the drapes!

We finally made it to Texas, where Annie is learning a whole new way to drive aggressively!
