For Annie -The Move

Annie wanted me to update my blog... so this is for her. These are the pictures from her move to her new house in St. Louis.
Here she is calling in the troops to start the move!
The happy movers included Michael, Aunt Mary, Mark, Anna's Justin, Anna, Annie, Annie's Justin and Chris (and of course me, the photographer!)

A good time was had by all

Here is Annie putting the key in the door for the first time (actually this is a reenactment... we weren't there for the first time!)

An Action shot of Justin moving in Annie's luggage... which she complained and complained about when we gave it to her for Christmas her junior year of high school. But she is sooooo happy we gave it to her now! Probably her most useful gift, after her tools!

More action - or is this the same picture?

It wasn't all work and no play. Anna had a lot of fun giving Annie's Moon Shoes a whirl....

I think I know what Anna wants for Christmas!

After the move was finnished we went to Target to pick up a few things. Target has this neat escalator for carts.... so I had a lot of fun putting our cart on it!

I am easy to amuse!
Here I am giving Vanna White a run for the money

The cart arrived at the bottom of the escalator safely

Michael, Chris and Annie had fun with Annie's BIG BALL... if you go through these pictures quickly it's just like a video... well, not just like... but try it!

{I may have deleted one or two of these pictures....sorry!}

After all that fun we had an early dinner at an Irish Pub in St. Louis

I took this picture!
Chris made himself at home, and made himself breakfast!

The Kitchen eating area

Annie and Mark paused for a picture after installing fire extinquishers, programmable thermostad and compact florescent light bulbs... Annie's house is GREEEN!

Living room decorated in early Grandma and Grandpa Bob with Dumpster accents.

More fun summer pictures to follow....

Father's Day Weekend

Chris and Steph came out to visit us this weekend... helped us put the cover on the boat lift
And kept us entertained!

Saturday we hosted a going away party for Dr. Lorence
Here Mark sends Paula and Riley off to try their hands and paddling at canoeing
We initiated the new fire pit

Enjoyed S'mores and coffee with Bailey's
Stella had to sit with her "boy"
Sunday water skiiing.... Here is Chris getting started

Steph took a turn

Here she is knee boarding Chris took a turn too,
but i just deleted his picture...and it was a good one too!

Captain Mark at the wheel of the good ship... we need a name for the boat. Send your suggestions to jan.hatton@gmail.com
My efforts at a "good picture of Chris and Steph (and Stella who thinks she is going with them) netted these results:

Here you will find two videos that i am considering entering in a video contest... let me know what you think... (i would delete one but I don't seem to be able to. And then I really can't decide which one is better.)
Summer has arrived.... be sure and get your reservations in to come and visit! We'd love to see you.

The Very Busy Month of May 2010

May was busy busy.... what with trees coming down and bulldozers in the back yard...

Which resulted in our new fire pit!

Then we got together with the Guatemalan Mission Team group to share pictures and memories...

Have to be careful driving this time of year....
they grow up so fast, don't they?

And then it was on to St. Louis where Mark and Annie put together her Christmas Grill....

Annie really "got into" putting the grill together~

It is always good to review the directions!

Shotzie!!!!!

Annie made breakfast for us so we would have a good start and be alert for House Hunting!

This is the first house we toured, and we are hoping that she is able to seal the deal in the next few days.

The House Hunting Team
(not pictured Me!)

Justin, Mark and Annie are armed and ready to see houses!

Justin, the guy Annie dating. Shotzie is keeping an eye on him!

Here is Annie preparing yet another meal for us... Hamburgers with blue cheese!

She really prefers grilling to cooking on a stove.

And then we were off to Washington, Il to see Mike, Meg (who is really good at avoiding the camera!) Patrick, Becca and George.

Becca playing with clock puzzle

Patrick and Mark enjoying a story....

Michael posed on his new stairs, which he designed and built!

George is really growing... and getting cuter and cuter! Sometimes I think he looks just like Patrick, and other times I think he looks just like himself.
